Objective:Both Chuanminshen violaceum and Rhizoma chuanxiong are Sichuan medicinal materials.In modern times, there are many studys about their pharmacological effects and chemical composition, but lack of studys on heavy metals in Chuanminshen violaceum and Rhizoma chuanxiong investigation.Recent years,each country pay much attention to the problem that the content of heavy metals in is exceed the standard in Chinese herbal medicine.This stusy preliminary discusse the influence of soil’s pH for the content of Cd in Rhizoma Chuanxiong and the content of active state Cd in cultivated soil By detecting the content of heavy metals in Rhizoma chuanxiong that come from different regions cultivated soil’s pH and cadmium content in cultivated soil. According to this study, we can provide the scientific proof for improving the cultivated techniques of Rhizoma chuanxiong, and then decreasing the content of Cd.We also detect the heavy metals content in Chuanminshen violaceum that producted from different regions, it is aim to ensure the quality of Chuanminshen violaceum and provide a scientific proof for people safe to eat. Methods:First, based on the prophase research work about20000mu of Rhizoma chuanxiong in the original area,we select15typical areas which have a big diffrence in the content of Cd as the research object from xu du and Ao Ping.And collection once a month in Rhizoma chuanxiong growth cycle, collecting samples6times. Second,determine the difference between wet soil and dry soil on pH value while analyzing its correlation with the heavy metal content in Rhizoma Chuanxiong medicinal materials.Thrid,selecting Rhizoma chuanxiong and their corresponding soil whose pH values exist a big difference as the object. First of all, Oscillation extraction, ultrasonic extraction were used to extract the active state Cd in Rhizoma chuanxiong according to the order water soluble state, ion exchange state, carbonate state, Fe, Mn oxides combination state, organic combination state; next, taking the method of wet digestion to eliminate residual soil to get cadmium residual state; finally, using atomic absorption spectrophotometry to detect each form of cadmium and the cadmium content in Rhizoma chuanxiong. Through the comparative of the cadmium content and the percentage of effective state, preliminary study on the influence of soil’s pH for the content of Cd in Rhizoma chuanxiong and the content of active state Cd in cultivated soil.Fourth, we also take the method of wet digestion to damage the organic compound, then, flame-AAS was adopted to detect the amount of Cu in Chuanminshen violaceum, graphite furnance-AAS was used to detect the contents of Cd and Pb. Results:(1)There is no big differece in wet soil and dry soil on pH.(2)The content of Cd in Rhizoma chuanxiong is higher than that whose pH value is relatively high, and the trend is consistent. (3)In soil with pH value between4.9and5.76,content of ion form Cd accounted for52.09%of the total Cd content. In soil with pH value between7.21and7.53,content of ion form Cd accounted for24.11%of the total Cd content. Cd content in the Rhizome chuanxiong was low when the pH value of cultivated soil was high.(4)The maximum value of Cu content is4.950ppm, the minimum value is1.175ppm; The maximum value of Pb content is0.956ppm, the minimum value is0.008ppm; Cd maximum value is0.166ppm, the minimum value is0.013ppm. Conclusion:(1) in the process of Rhizome chuanxiong cultivation, changing the soil’s pH may affect the content of Cd in Rhizome chuanxiong.(2)The results showed that with the increasing of the soil’s acidity, the percentage of ion-state cadmium in the soil and the content of Cd in Rhizoma chuanxiong were increased.(3)The heavy metals content in Chuanminshen violaceum is quiet low, samples are all In accordance with medicinal plants and preparations of the green trade standardis,and then it is safe to eat.
