Clinical Study On Kuntai Capsule In Treatment Of Decreasing Ovarian Reserve And Premature Ovarian Failure

Objective：To observe and evaluate the therapeutic effect of Kuntai Capsule on patients withdecreasing ovarian reserve and Premature ovarian failure, and provide scientific evidence forthe clinical usage of Kuntai Capsule.Methods：From March2009to December2013, we selected120cases diagnosed decreasingovarian reserve and premature ovarian failure from the reproductive inpatient andreproductive outpatient department of Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University, according toasthenic yin Causing excessive pyrexia,60cases were observed. They are divided into twogroups: A group of Decreasing ovarian reserve(10IU/L<FSH<40IU/L)and B group ofpremature ovarian failure(FSH>40IU/L). Each group patients are further randomly dividedinto2teams, respectively, Kuntai Capsule treatment group and artificial cycle control group.The usage Methods of Kuntai Capsule:4capsules/time,3times/day, per os half an hour aftermeals, for three months. The control group(estradiol valerate tablets1mg/tablets), a night,taking half an hour after dinner, for2l consecutive days, the last day for10days plusmedroxyprogesterone acetate200mg/d, stop drugs was period, from the5th day ofmenstruationre-use; without menstrualonset,7days after stopping to take the next cycle bythe above method.3cycles of treatment. All patients are evaluated at physical sign integrals,syndrome integra1s; variations of sex hormones and changes of ovarian vo1ume, endometrialthickness, follicle number and ovarian artery blood flow(RI, PVS)by color doppleru1trasound．Results：1. Kuntai capsule compared between the two groups after the treatment area A area B,the effective rates were not significantly different (P<0.05), two groups of areas A、 B, curerate differences are statistically significant (P>0.05), the treatment group the cure rate is betterthan the control group. Two kinds of therapy on ovarian reserve declines and has betterclinical curative effect in patients with premature ovarian failure and clinical effects of Kuntaicapsule is better.2. In zone A：after treatment, the two groups of patients FSH、LH and E2value: average down before treatment, no difference before and after treatment (P>0.05), the slighter of thetwo groups, no significant sex differences in hormone levels after treatment (P>0.05).In zoneB： two groups of patients after treatment, treatment groups decrease in FSH andLH levels compared to before treatment, but no significant difference (P>0.05), E2：earlierlevels rise, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05), two groups after treatmentdifferences in levels of LH and FSH and E2was not significant (P>0.05).3. Treatment of the latter two groups of zones A and B in patients with HDL-Ccompared to before treatment were significantly increases, a statistically significant difference(P<0.05), TC、TG and LDL-C and treatment of earlier declines, a statistically significantdifference (P<0.05). Comparison between the two groups after treatment, TC、 TG、 HDL-Cand LDL-C level that there are (P<0.05).Conclusion：1. Treatment with Kuntai capsule on decreasing ovarian reserve/premature ovarianfailure can significantly improve symptoms of patients, and its overall effect was comparablewith hormone replacement treatment, with side effects safe, and provides a new choice forwho are reluctant to adopt hormone replacement therapy.2. In patients with decreasing ovarian reserve, the effect of Kuntai capsule in improvingthe Status of the endocrine and blood flow is similar to the hormone replacement therapy,indicating that the earlier the treatment was undergone, that is in the early rise time in FSHand LH, the more ideal the Clinical effect was.3.In patients with premature ovarian failure, the therapeutic effect of KunTai Capsule onimproving endocrine function was worse than the endocrine hormone replacement treatment.
