Objective:By testing the expression and clinical significance of Cav-1and Her-2protein in the invasive ductal carcinoma,we tried to discuss their relationshipwith IDC.Method:The immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expressions ofCav-1and Her-2protein in53cases of invasive ductal carcinoma tissues andcorresponding adjacent normal tissues, and to analyse their relationships withclinicopathological features and both of the two.Result:1Expression of Cav-1protein: Cav-1was mainly expressed in theplasma membrane of cells, only a little in cytoplasm. Immunohistochemicalresults showed strong expression in normal breast tissues and a reduction ofcav-1expression in invasive ductal carcinoma. Statistical analysis revealedthat Cav-1-positive stained rate was significant higher in normal breast tissues(88.7%) than that in IDC tissues (54.7%)(P<0.01). There were significantdifference between IDC group and normal breast tissue group (P<0.01).2Expression of Her-2protein: Her-2protein was mainly expressed in theplasma membrane of tumor cells and a small quantity of normal tissues.Statistical analysis revealed that Her-2-positive stained rate was higher in IDC(30.2%) than that in normal breast tissues tissues (13.2%)(P<0.05). There wasdifference between IDC group and normal breast tissue group (P<0.05).3The relationship of Cav-1with clinical pathological datas of IDC:Statistical analysis revealed that the expression of Cav-1protein in IDCs hadno significant relation with age, tumor size (P>0.05), but it was correlatedwith lymph node metastasize, AJCC stage (P<0.05). Expression rate of Cav-1protein with lymph node metastasize (35%) was significant lower thanthat in without (66.7%)(P<0.05). And with the step up of UICC stage, theexpression of Cav-1protein was down (Ⅰ-Ⅱ67.7%, Ⅲ36.4%)(P<0.05).4The relationship of Her-2with clinical pathological datas of IDC:Statistical analysis revealed that the expression of Her-2protein in IDC had nosignificant relation with age, tumor size (P>0.05), but it was correlated withlymph node metastasize, UICC stage (P<0.05). Expression rate of Her-2protein with lymph node metastasize (50.0%) was significant higher than thatin without (18.2%)(P<0.05). Accompany with the step up of UICC stage, theexpression rates of Her-2protein were rising (Ⅰ-Ⅱ12.9%, Ⅲ54.5%)(P<0.01).5The relationship of the expression of Cav-1、Her-2in IDC: The relationof Cav-1and Her-2protein in IDC is a negtive correlation(r=-0.310), it isstatistical(P=0.024).With the down-expression of Cav-1protein,the expressionof Her-2increased.Conclusion:1Our results indicate that Cav-1acts as a negative regulator of signaltransduction.May be this can inhibite the onset, development and progressionof breast carcinomas.2The relationship of Cav-1protein and Her-2in IDC indicated thatCav-1mediated the tumor cells’ signal transduction, and by this it maysuppress the growth of tumor cells, malignancy and invasion. And also showsan inverse correlation with Her-2. The Cav-1down-regulate the expression ofHer-2protein. This may become an outcome indicator for IDC, and mayprovide new therapeutic targets for the treatment of IDC.
