Hearing Examination In Patients With Type2Diabetes And Normal Hearing Test Results Of The Study

Objective：It is to investigate the hearing impairment condition of type2diabetesmellitus patients and normal hearing impairment，and to discuss the pathogenesis ofdiabetogenous hearing impairment. Methods：105patients with type2diabetes mellitusand50cases in normal control group were detected audiology with pure tone auditorythreshold eudiometry and acoustic admittance eudiometry. They were divided into groupsand compared. Results：The hearing defect detection rate in type2diabetes mellituspatients was49.5%, which was obviously higher than that in control group (10%)(P <0.01), and high frequency auditory threshold was heightened more obviously. The aver ageauditory threshold of diabetes stage>5y patients was higher than that of diabetes stage≤5y patients, the high frequency auditory threshold of hearing defect detection rate washeightened obviously, and there was very significant difference between the both sides (P<0.05). The hearing defect detection rate in accompanied by high blood pressure inpatients with diabetes mellitus was59.5%and was obviously higher than that in Nodiabetes mellitus patients complicated with hypertension (42.9%), the auditory thresholdwas heightened, and there was very significant difference between the both sides.Conclusion：Type2diabetes mellitus can cause auditory system of patients impairment,and the hearing impairment r ate of stage long patients with retinopathy is higher.
