The Influnce Of Breast Cancer Local Excision In Relapse And Metastasis

Objective:through a retrospective analysis,we explore the local excision’s effect of the recurrence and metastasis before the radical mastectomy to provide a reference on formulating the clinical treatment program.Method:Take a retrospective analysis for the medical records of the breast cancer patients who were diagnosed pathologically in our departments from01/2008to10/2010, select the medical records treated in the method of the local excision before the radical mastectomy (observation group) and the radical mastectomy directly (control group) randomly, analyze the recurrence and metastasis of two groups of patients.Result:Observation group containing148cases,14cases (9.5%) with local recurrence,23patients (15.5%) with distant metastases; control group containing150cases,5cases (3.6%) with local recurrence,11patients (7.3%) with distant metastases. The local recurrence and distant metastases of the two groups were statistically different (P<0.05) and the OR values of the recurrence and metastasis of the observation group and the control group were up to2.8and2.3respectively.Conclusion:There will be an impact on the recurrence and metastasis,if taking the local excision before the radical mastectomy for Breast cancer patients.the treatment indications for the patients who take the local excision before the radical mastectomy only should be distinguished from the ones by the radical mastectomy directly.
