| objective:Serum homocysteine (Hcy),uric acid (UA),retinol-binding protein4(RBP4) were detected in the patients with coronary disease to explore their clinical significance in coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods:603patients hospitalized in second affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University from April2011to June2012were enrolled, who were diagnosed with suspected coronary heart disease and underwent coronary angiography (CAG). Of them,503cases were diagnosed as established coronary heart disease (CHD) and the remaining100cases were no CHD as control group. According to clinical characteristic of CHD group, which were classified into3subgroups:84cases of acute myocardial infarction (AMI),312cases of unstable angina pectoris (UAP) and107cases of stable angina pectoris (SAP); At the same time, according to the comorbidity with hypertension or diabetes,503patients with CHD were subgrouped into244cases with hypertension (HTN);22cases with diabetes mellitus (DM);74cases with hypertension and diabetes mellitus (HTN+DM) and163cases without hypertension or diabetes. Serum Hey, UA and RBP4were measured and analyzed the difference among different groups. Furthermore, we also observed the relations among Heyã€UAã€RBP4and HTNã€DM.Results:The level of Heyã€UA were significantly higher in AMI,UAP and SAP groups than those in control group(P<0.05), the level of Hey and UA were presented as AMI group> UAP group> SAP group> Control group. In the multivariate logistic regression analysis, it indicated that Hey is a risk factor of CHD, while RBP4showed no significant difference among groups (P>0.05); the correlations test between different factors revealed Heyã€UAã€RBP4and smokingã€TGã€ApoA1are related, UA and Hey, RBP4are related, but Hey and RBP4have no relation; it also demonstrated Hey and DM are related, UA and HTNã€DM are related,RBP4and HTN are related. Conclusion:Hey and UA are associated significantly with CHD, their serum level is consistent with the severity of CHD; Among Heyã€UA and RBP4, UA and Heyã€RBP4are related, while Hey and RBP4have no relation; DM and HTN maybe directly or indirectly promote or affect CHD by many compositions including Hcyã€UA, etal. |
