Object:1、To explore the predictive values of Brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV)、serumhomocysteine(Hcy)in diagnosis of coronary heart disease(CHD)and severity of coronary stenosis;2、To explore the relationship between Brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV),serum homocysteine(Hcy) and left ventricular function in patients with Coronary artery disease(CAD).Methods:1、The patients having coronary angiography (CAG, n=196) were divided into the CHD group(n=131) and non-CHD group (n=65) according to the outcomes of CAG. The CHD group was dividedagain into three sub-groups: mild group, moderate group and severe group according to the severity ofcoronary stenosis (SYNTAX grading). The changes of baPWV were detected by using the measuresystem of PWV in all patients before CAG, serum Hcy levers were measured by the fluorescencepolarization immunoassay (FPIA);2、According to the outcomes of CAG,142patients with CAD wereenrolled in the study, EF、E、A、Ea were measured by echocardiography, calculate E/Ea ratio. The patientswere divided into two groups:E/Ea≥15group and E/Ea<15group.Results:1、The differences of baPWV and Hcy were statistically significant between the CHD group andnon-CHD group(P<0.01);Severe group showed higher Hcy than the moderate group and mildgroup(P<0.05);In three sub-groups,the difference of baPWV was statistically significant among mild group, moderate group and severe group(P<0.05);There was a positive correlation between baPWV、Hcy andSYNTAX score.2、The differences of baPWV and Hcy were statistically significant between the E/Ea≥15group and E/Ea<15group (P<0.05);There was a positive correlation between baPWV、Hcy and E/Ea.Conclusion:1、 baPWV and Hcy have predictive values in diagnosis of coronary heart disease.2、baPWVand Hcy have predictive values in diagnosis of diastolic cardiac dysfunction in CAD patients.
