Clinical Study Of Shengmai Platycodon Root Decoction In The Treatment Of Deficiency Of Both Qi And Yin Phlegm Heat Obstructing Lung Type Of Senile Pneumonia

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Shengmai Platycodon root decoctioncombined with antibiotics in the treatment of senile pneumonia.Methods:60cases of patients were randomly divided into treatment group30casesand control group of30cases, two were treated by symptomatic and anti-infectiontreatment, treatment group were additionally treated with Shengmai Platycodon rootdecoction.Results: The comparison of curative effect, the clinical effect of treatment groupwas better than control group. Hou efficacy and symptoms of TCM improvement, ashas the obvious advantage in relieving cough,five upset hot, shortness of breath,fatigue, thirst and chest pain and other symptoms, namely two groups showedsignificant difference (P <0.05), improve the clinical symptoms, signs and thetreatment group was significantly better than the control group. The treatment groupthe average effective time on treatment courses (6±1.4) d, control group mean onsettime (11±2.1) d, there was significant difference between the two groups (P <O.05).④According to statistics, in the senile pneumonia (deficiency of both qi andYin, lung phlegm heat syndrome) patients, Qi and yin deficiency and phlegm heatsymptoms were evident.⑤According to statistics, in the senile pneumonia (deficiencyof both qi and Yin, lung phlegm heat syndrome) patients, Qi and yin deficiency andphlegm heat symptoms were evident.⑥According to statistics, in the senilepneumonia (deficiency of both qi and Yin, lung phlegm heat syndrome) patients, Qiand yin deficiency and phlegm heat symptoms were evident.⑦The adverse reactionof treatment group had adverse reactions occurred in1patients, as a mild diarrhea, theincidence of adverse reaction was3%;3cases of adverse reactions of the controlgroup, including1cases of mild diarrhea, double infection occurred in1cases,1 cases of AST, ALT were significantly increased, the incidence of adverse reaction was10%.⑧Finally through the security index statistics of Shengmai Decoction ofPlatycodon root decoction has good safety, in terms of electrocardiogram, liverfunction, renal function, P>0.05, not statistically significant.Conclusion: the clinical curative effects of Shengmai Platycodon root decoctioncombined with antibiotics in the treatment of deficiency of both qi and Yin, phlegmheat obstructing lung type of senile pneumonia.
