Abstract Objective: To evaluate efficacy, safety and complication of combining stentand coil for complex intracranial aneurysms. Methods: The clinical data of27patients with complex intracranial aneurysms treatedwith combined stent and coils were analyzed retrospectivel, including15cavernous partof internal carotid artery aneurysms,10supraclinoid segment internal carotid artery,2vertebral aneurysm,1anterior inferior cerebellar artery aneurysm,2basiler arteryaneurysms.18stents were released originally in4cases, then mcrocatheters wereinserted into aneurysms through luminas of stnets and coils were implanted;Originallymicrocatheters were inserted into aneurysms, then Neuroform stents were released forembolization in9cases.Results: the31stents were successfully deployed. Complete embolization was achievedin18patients,over90ï¼…in6and less than80ï¼…in4. Rupture occurred in1aneurysmduring coiling; Thromboemholic events occurred in3patients who was completelyrecovered1month later;1patient was hemiplegia.1patient was died.27patients werefollowed up for3to12months and neither rebleeding nor thrombus was found.2intracrenial aneurysm reoccurred. |
