The Pharmacodynamics Of Agrimonia Pilosa Ledeb

Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb (Rosaceae) is a traditional Chinese medicine, which contains steroids, flavonoids, tannins, organic acids, lactones, and triterpenes. It has been used as a hemostatic, an antidiarrheic, an antiparasitic, etc. Traditionally, it has been used to treat Nvxue, hemoptysis, hematuria, hematochezia, uterine bleeding and other bleedings, Chibai dysentery and antidefatigation. It has an effect on heart, blood pressure, anti-bacterial, as well as being effective in reducing blood sugar, etc. Nowadays, the plant has been used for Meniere’s syndrome, diabetes, cancer therapy and so on.In part one, gives a general review about chemical compositions of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb, the clinical applications and the determinations of some compositions.In part two, the constituents of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb were extracted by solvent method.The yield of aqueous extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb is9.08%, and the yield of petroleum ether extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb is0.24%.The identification of Agrimol was carried by TLC with Agrimol B as reference substance.Both have the same Rf.In part three, to obtain the original toxic material and decide pharmacodynamics safe dose, we observed the response and extension of the acute toxicity that extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb induced in mouse. The aquaefer extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb with the dose (63.4g (gruffs)·kg-1) and below the dose had no obvious toxic response to the mouse.In part four, the procoagulant or anticoagulant activities of the extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb was studied through the test of anticoagulant in vitro.Anticoagulant activity was determined by measuring the prothrombin time (PT) and the activated partial throboplstin time (APTT).APTT was shortened and PT was prolonged.In part five, hemostatic effect of the extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb on gastric hemorrhage model caused by heat was studied and the mechanism of hemostatic effect was inquired. The extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb can decrease the bleedings of stomach on mice. PT and APPT were shortened.In part six, the effect of the extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion rats was studied, the model was established by middle cerebral occlusion method (MCAO).The neurological deficits were observed, the extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb can reduce the brain infarct size and neurological score. PT、 APTT and TT were shortened.In part seven, the effect of the extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb on isolated thoracic aortic rings of rabbits was initial studied.The ethanol extract and petroleum ether extract of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb had relaxing effects on phenylephrine pre-contracted aortic rings.
