| Objective:To compare the clinical effect of clavicular hook plate and kirschnertension band wires in treatment of unstable distal clavicle fractures.A retrospectivestudy had been done to analyze the preliminary effects of clavicular hook platetechnique for treating unstable distal clavicle fractures.Methods:Look back to analyse a total of42patients of distal Clavicle fracturesCured by surgery in The second Affiliated Hospital of DaLian Medical UniversityFrom june,2001to august,2011.We divided all the patients into two groups. Group A atotal of24patients were treated by AO clavicular hook plate technique. Group B a totalof18patients were treated by Kirschner tension bandwire.Given an arm sling afteroperation.Results: All of them were followed up for(12to16)months(average,14months).According to karhson,s standard, in group A22cases were graded as excellent and2cases were graded as good. After2months just1case appeared the shoulder pain, Butwe were removalled the clavicular hook plate when the fractures healed after10months,The shoulder pain symptoms gradually disappear. There was no new Fractureand other complications after operation. In group B11cases were graded as excellentand5cases were graded as good. There are2patients operations werefailure owing tothe broken of the Kirschner tension band wires.Conclusion: The treatment with clavicular hook plate for unstable distal Claviclefractures is a reliable method which has significant effects... |
