Objective: No nerve injury thoracolumbar burst fracture conservative treatment objectiveevaluation of posterior surgery in the treatment of clinical efficacy and imagingchanges, comment its superiority in the treatment of thoracolumbar burst fractureswithout neurological damage way provides the theory basis. Methods: choose between September2008and December2011at yan an universityaffiliated hospital diagnosis and treatment of bone block of45cases of thoracolumbarburst fractures without neurological symptoms of patient,non-operation group(Agroup):8cases of male,female4cases,age is the samallest22years,the biggest52years old, theaverage age is38.6years old, among them: A type:5cases, B type:2cases; C type:2cases; D type:2cases, E type:1cases of operation; group (B group):22cases of male,female11cases,age is the samallest21years,the biggest55years old,the average age is41.2years old, among them: A type:15cases, B type:6cases; C type:4cases; D type:5cases, E type:3cases of operation; before and1week,1year after treatment in patientswith clilnical symptoms, chest and waist back pain), imaging findings (vertebarcompression degree), vertebral body loss index (verteral canal lost correspondingvertebral canal lost shape/size/diameter),vertebral canal placeholder observation, thestability of the spine, late onset of nerve damage etc),comparing the efficacy of named itssuperiority. Results: after1year follow-up,conservative treatment and surgery1and2in the clinicalsymptoms, vertebral compression and late-onset neural symptoms have difference (P<0.05),vertebral canal placeholder no difference (P>0.05).Conclusion: For burst fracture operation treatment is superior to non operationtreatment of non-nerve injury thoracolumbar operation treatment, can maximize therecovery of vertebal height, correct spinal deformity, strengthen stability of the spine, isreasonable for patients with early function exercise and activity, and neual function in thepatients with advanced and labor ability rexovery than the nor operation treatment.
