Studies On The Resources,and Ornamental Value Of Autumn Foliage Plants From Bifengxia

Throught line-road and sampling plots investigation metheods,research on the resources of fall foliage plants in Bifengxia,the distribution of the families and genera of fall foliage plants were also analyzed,the resources and ecological habit of fall foliage plants were discussed;by using the method of phenological observation, the ornamental periodautumn of fall foliage plants was studied, the best ornamental period of autumn landscape were analyzed;Using the auxiliary software Colorimpact analysed the color composition of fall foliage plants in Bifengxia,and studied the color scheme of fall foliage plants in Bifengxia;Using the SBE method assessed the ornamental value of fall foliage plants,and used linear model and nonlinear model to explain and predict the SBE. The main results were as follows:1.There were40families,65genera and85species fall foliage plants in Bifengxia,incuding2families,2genera and2species of gymnosperms,38families,63genera and83species of angiosperm. Totally53tree species,27shrub species and5vine species in Bifengxia.2. Through the study resources,we can draw a conclusion that the richness and resources of autumn foliage plants was lower;with the increase of altitude,the richness and resources of autumn foliage plantsare were also increased;the resources of different autumn foliage plant was different.3. By observing the leaf fall period and discoloration period of autumn foliage plants,we can know that the ornamental period of autumn foliage plants in Bifengxia was from the middle of September to late November, the best ornamental period of autumn landscape can reach more than two months.the autumn foliage plants that the ornamental period was more than50d were Acer palmatum、Metasequoia glyptostroboides,Aralia chinensis,Acer sinense,Quercus acutissima,Toxicodendron succedaneum,Ginkgo biloba,Liquidambar formosana.4. Refer to the family flora of autumn foliage plants,there were7distribution types and1subtype,and the families mainly belong to tropical distribution elements;refer to the genera flora,therw were12distribution types and7subtype,and the genera mainly belong to temperate distribution elemnts.5. Study on the autumn foliage plants’ecological characters shows that the ecological types of autumn foliage plants in Bifengxia were varitey.It can be attributed to sunshine,water and son on.6. After investigating,the colour of autumn foliage plants in Bifengxia were red and yellow.The autumn foliage plants with red leaf were Sloanea hemsleyana,Aralia chinensis,Parthenocissus tricuspidata,etc;and the autumn of foliage plants with yellow leaf were,Lindera glauca, Acer davidii,Ginkgo biloba, etc.7. By Scenic Beauty Estimation the scenic beauty of autumn foliage plants was analyzed,we can see that autumn foliage plants with high ornamental value were Acer robustum,Acer davidii,Metasequoia glyptostroboide,Toxicodendron succedaneum, etc. A linaer model model for the estimaion betwen sceenic beauty and different landscap elements was established.colorandlustre of foliage plant,backdrop,density of leaves,colour,prospects were the dominant factors influencing the scenic beauty of autumn foliage plants;and the nonlinear model can predicted the results accurately.
