For exploring Camellia oleifera byproduct, such as oiltea cake, Tea soponin andothers, seeking local nematicidal plant-material and investigating control effect of itsbyproducts in field.Nematicidal activity of theaceae plant extract: Ethanol extracts of oil-tea cake andother8plant materials had been prepared. Indoor experiments were carried on to test itsnematicidal activity in vitro against Meloidogyne incognita Juvenile2(J2). The resultsshowed, totally5plant extracts, including extracts of oil-tea seed, tea seed, oil-tea cake, teasaponin extracts (65%), refined-saponin, reached medium-strong nematicidal activity, among them tea seed caused maxium mortality of M.cognita at10mg/mL during48hexposure time.Effect of detoxifying enzymes of Bursaphelenchus xyluplilus treated by tea saponin:L9(34) orthogonal experimental design was applied to design the treatment, B. xylupliluswas treated with different exposure time, pH, temperature and tea soponin (95%)concentrations. Detoxifying enzyme activity of catalase and carboxylesterase activity of B.xyluplilus were measured by enzymatic colorimetric. The results showed that catalaseactivity ranged from193-10.7μmol/s g, with maximum activity higher than the non-teasoponin (95%) treatment by216.2%at tea saponin (95%) concentration of500μg/mL,during6h exposure time,15℃and pH4.8. Carboxylesterase activity ranged from948.3-175.9nmol/min mL g, with maximum activity higher than the non-tea soponin(95%) treatment by86.5%at tea saponin (95%)concentration of500μg/mL, during12hexposure time15℃and pH4.8. Catalase activity were affected by the factors in thefollow order, concentration of tea saponin95%, treatment temperature, exposure time, pHvalue of tea saponin (95%) solution.Field control effect of tea saponin and tea-oil cake anginst phytoparasite nematode:Field experiments were carried out to assess control effect of serial preparations of oil-teamaterial. Oil-tea cake was used with application of2500kg/hm2to control Trichosanthesspp. root knot nematode in Qianshshan conty. The results showed that M. incognita J2were habited by49.8%150d later. In addition fruit number and fruit diameter of T. sppwere increased by oil-tea cake180d later.Angelica yields, root length and radius of tea saponin preparations treatment plotsincreased by17.5%,4.1%and15.7%respectivitly compared to non-treatment plots at harvest time after saponin preparations were used in Bozhou city at dosage300kg/hm2saponin(65%) to control M. incognita J2150d later.Wheat yields of tea saponin preparations treatment plots increased by5.1%, comparedto non-treatment plots at harvest time after saponion preparations were used at dosage400kg/hm2saponin (65%) to control wheat cyst nematode at harvest time in Yingshang conty.yield of wheatTea saponin (65%) was used with application of300kg/hm2to control wheat cystnematode in Xiao conty. The results showed that egg density was habited. by41.4%150dlater. Average plant height of5treatment increased rang form1.7-7.0%compared to theblank control. Measured wheat yields of tea saponin preparations and oil-tea caketreatment plots increased by6.8%and14.6%compared to non-treatment plots at harvesttime.Effect of theaceae plant materials on crop growth: A pot experiment was carried on toinvestigate impact of tea seed, oil-tea cake and tea saponin (65%) on wheat growth. Theresults showed that seed, oil-tea cake and tea saponin (65%) treatment stimulated the wheatgrowth at low application, inhibited the wheat growth at high application.
