The experiment was done in Shanxi Agricultural University Horticultural Station from February to October in2012, was aimed at the premature aging changes in physiological mechanisms with different cultivation techniques, integrated extension of tomato growth period. The test set2factors, a total of eight treatments, namely different plastic film coated with various training modes; mulching2levels:black film and white plastic film, the pruning set four level:alone pruning, double rod pruning, the improved single stalk pruning, continuous for the first pruning. Treatments were also observed stem diameter, plant height and other morphological index, MDA content, SOD, POD activity, chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate and other physiological indices and yield.The results are as follows:(1)The black mulching treatment has a larger stem diameter than white mulching, a higher plant height, and stronger growth potential.(2) During the observation period, the black mulching treatment has a lower leaf MDA content than the white plastic film mulching treatment, treatment of SOD, POD activity are higher with black mulching than the white plastic film mulching. Therefore, the black mulching treatment is anti-premature aging compared with the whites. Double-pole pruning treatment plants has a higher MDA content is compared to the rest of the processing, especially during the late reproductive period. However, the protective enzymes SOD and POD activity are lower which show it is easy to premature aging.(3)During the observation period, leaf chlorophyll content in the black mulching leaf of the same leaf site is higher than the white mulching processing, which shows strong period in photosynthesis.(4) During the observation period, the same position leaves of photosynthetic rate between pre-treatment differences, but not the law, black mulching late photosynthetic rate higher than the white plastic film mulching treatment, the single stalk pruning and improved the single stalk pruning processing photosynthetic rate higher than double pole the pruning and continuous for the first pruning process.(5)Black mulching processing production overall higher than the white plastic film mulching treatment, improved the single stalk pruning process yield is higher than the rest of the processing.
