Astragalus adsurgens Pall.belonged to Astragalus genus of Leguminosae is herb plant.Because of having strong ecological adaptability, it mainly distributed in the northwest, northeast, North China, Henan, Sichuan, Yunnan and other provinces of China. At present, the researches of A. adsurgens Pall. is focus on nutrients and trace elements, and the toxitythat lead to the usage is restricted is unobvious. we have intended to test the chemicalcomposition of it through preliminary systematic test, to analysis alkaloids through thin-layerchromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, to test conventional nutrientsand minal elements through cetain methods, to asses the toxicity of the aboveground part of it,we set mice subac toxicity test. The results of these researches are as follows.1.The test of preliminary chemical components and alkaloid TLC analysis of wild A.adsurgens Pall.We have employed plant chemical preliminary systematic test, cyanogenic glycosidesand nitro compounds special test to analysis the chemical constituents of the abovegroundpart of it, we use industrial alcohol extract the total extraction and the total extract weresegmented by chloroform to get acid chloroform part of alkaloids and alkaline chloroformpart of alkaloids, the two parts were analyzed by TLC.The results are shown that the above ground part of it contain cardiac glycosides, alkaloids, flavonoids, quinones, phenols, saponins, organicacid, volatile oil, amino acids, notcontaining coumarin, cyanogenic glycosides and nitro compounds. the extraction rate ofacidity chloroform alkaloids and alkaline chloroform alkaloids obtained from powder of A.adsurgens Pall. was1.3%and0.8%.the analysis of thin-layer chromatography showed thatthe best developed system of acidic chloroform alkaloids is V (chloroform): V (methanol)=15:1and alkaline chloroform alkaloids is V (methanol): V (water)=10:1. the two partalkaloids showed5distinct color spots, Alkaloids consentrate at acid chloroform part.2.The alkaloid GC-MS analysis of wild A. adsurgens Pall.Alkaloids come from acidity chloroform and alkaline chloroform were dissolved inmethanol, then determined by GC-MS, the result showed that A. adsurgens Pall. containAllocryptopine, Protopine, Canadine, and so on. The total of them reached to80%and play an important role in the alkaloid component.3.The subac toxicity of the wild A. adsurgens Pall.48KM male mice were randomly divided into three groups named control group, experimentⅠand experimentⅡ. The control group fed with basal feed, while the feed ofexperimentⅠcontain0.45%total extraction of A. adsurgens Pall, the feed of experimentⅡcontain1.80%total extraction of A. adsurgens Pall. Mice were successively fed for68days. During these days, we observe clinical symptoms and weight the mice, then batchslaughtered at35d,46d,57d,68d, the tissue were observed under light microscope aftersome treatment. To test routine blood and biochemical, we collected blood at35d,68d Thetrial results show that the body weight growth of three group is slowing after4wk, and theweight of two experiment is slower than control. There is no obvious clinical symptomsobserved in experimental group. Compared with control and experiment Ⅱ,WBC ofexperimentⅠis lowest. RBC of experiment Ⅱwere significant with others. Cr, GOT/AST,ALK of two experiment were significant with control. BUN, Cr, GTP/ALT, GOT/AST iselevent with the time. Both of the experiment with different degrees of renal interstitialhemorrhage, renal tubular, epithelial cell swelling, luminal stenosis or blockage. Beside thatboth of them showed part of the liver area hemorrhage, stem cell swelling and mild vacuolardegeneration and other organizations have different degree pathological changes.4.The nutrition evaluation of wild A. adsurgens Pall.In this experiment, accordance with the determination methods of plant nutritioncomponent and trace elements, we got the results, The results show that the aboveground partof A.adsurgens Pall. contain dry matter, crude protein, crude fat, neutral detergent fiber, aciddetergent fiber, ash, nitrogen free extract, calcium, phosphorus content and trace elements theratio were respectly91.15%,11.80%,1.28%,47.22%,29.87%,7.39%,40.81%,1.03%and0.16%. In addition, magnesium, iron, manganese, zinc, copper and selenium contentwere1803.62μg/g,250.06μg/g,25.62μg/g,25.60μg/g,4.98μg/g and0.02μg/g.
