The rapid development of our country freeway, has now surpassed the UnitedStates as the world’s most populous nation in highway mileage, highway constructionpeak over the next ten years China will be the past, the attendant is the massive earlyconstruction highway maintenance and maintenance, this will be another peak ofhighway industry. Because of the economic and social development requirements, theconsumption of natural resources, put forward the view of sustainable development, theexploitation of non-renewable resources will be subject to strict control. Reclaimedasphalt pavement technology fits with these requirements, saving non-renewable asphalt,natural stone and other natural resources, recycling, but also to avoid the waste causedby environmental problems.In this paper, practical experience and research results at home and abroad onthe asphalt pavement recycling technology, based on the old pavement repairengineering Xi’an area as the basis, introduces the emulsified asphalt cold recyclingmixture filling application technology strong in old road. First of all, the research onpavement performance of old asphalt, analyzes the waste asphalt mixture composition,evaluation of aging degree of asphalt and aggregate gradation situation. Based on thedesign method of cold recycling mixture on the comparative analysis of variouscountries, puts forward the design method suitable for cold recycled mixture Xi’anarea,to determine the RAP parameters with volume of60%, the proportion of gravel andcrushed stone mixed with20%, the maximum dry density, splitting control strengthindex, the best fluid content of the mixed material was determined, the optimumasphalt-aggregate ratio, the optimum dosage of cement, and the production of mixtureaccording to this method, the road performance of detection, verify its feasibility.Secondly, the paper from three aspects of stable working mechanism, themechanism of Demulsification Mechanism of emulsified asphalt, introduces thefunction mechanism of emulsified asphalt for waste asphalt mixture, and studied theeffect of cement in the mixture cold recycling emulsified asphalt.Again, through the project example, introduces the field of cold recycled mixture construction process,and put forword the quality control index, and by laying the road,get the good application.Finally, through the analysis of cold recycling pavement economic and socialenvironmental benefits, the cost savings of around50%conclusion. The results showthat, the waste asphalt mixture cold recycling, is a very suitable road reconstruction, inhighway repair peak in the future, its development prospects is beyond doubt.
