In recent years, with the rapid development of highway construction in China, theecological and environmental problems in road area have become increasingly prominent。The longer highway mileage, ecosystems through the region are more complicated, thedamage and impact on the ecological environment along the road area is much greater. Inorder to restore the ecological environment in road area，it is need to carry out ecologicalrestoration of road area，this is also the urgent needs of the highway construction. The keyissues are the ecological restoration design and the choice of technical measures, which aresolved urgently in the ecological restoration of road area.On the basis of the domestic and abroad theoretical research and engineering practiceabout ecological restoration of road area, in connection with the current application status ofecological restoration technology of road area, this paper do the following research throughinvestigation and analysis. Firstly, the author probes the basic theory of the road areaecosystem the ecological restoration, proposes the basic approach and technical measures ofthe ecological restoration. Secondly, the author analyzes the basic principles of plant speciesselection and vegetation communities design, the ratio of seed, seeding rate calculation andother issues; lists and selects the several materials comprising the soil; probes the soilthickness design and combination of materials design; analyzes the main part of soildegradation and raises several soil regulation technology; Thirdly, the author proposes theselection method of the vegetation establishing technologies, selects the appropriateengineering technology by the field survey. engineering technology analysis andengineering technology comparison, proposes some technologies for the late conservationand management problem of the road area vegetation; Last, the author proposes threecategories of evaluation as vegetation factor. soil factor and landscape factor, and fourteensecondary indicators, evaluates the ecological restoration effects of the road area,accordingto the weighted composite index model. This thesis provides the selection method of the vegetation establishing technologiesfor the road area, promotes the development of the road area ecological restorationtechnology, and has some theoretical and practical significance.
