There are cutting, fine-blanking and trimming deflashing technologies to form someplate parts that have local precision profile, However, these technologies have somelimitations, therefore, this paper presents cutting-extruding compound trimming deflashingtechnology whose process is as follows, firstly, blank all the parts outline and leaveallowance at the local position where needs high precision, then use punch which hascertain round radius to blank the allowance on the common press, consequentlyhigh-precision dimensions and high finish profiles are obtained. This topic aims to researchforming mechanism of this technology, reveals its process rules and summarizes processparameters standards, which would guide and apply in production.In this article firstly studied the division of deformation zone and analyzed its stress statein theory; Secondly using Deform-3D software made numerical simulation of the formingprocess, analyzed metal flow, shear sliding mechanism, stress distribution rules and processparameters influence rules for stress state and forming quality; Thirdly, throughexperimental molds design and manufacture, made physics experiments on20steel andQ235material, researched rules of forming process in detail, summarized relationshipbetween parameters, gained the parameters standards on different thickness. At last, thesimulation parameters optimization is made for recliner tooth plate parts and applied inproduction.Researches indicated that the allowance and punch radius were the key parametersaffecting the quality of forming surface, and cutting-extruding compound trimmingdeflashing technology can avoid the shortage of conventional trimming deflashingtechnology and greatly increase the range of process allowance, which would minimize thedifficulty brought about by the high positioning accuracy. This article systematicallyresearched the influence rules of allowance and punch radius to forming quality, andestablished the relationship between parameters at different thickness, which has highreference value for the forming of plate parts that have local precision profile. Throughpractical application of the recliner tooth plate parts, it is proved that cutting-extrudingcompound trimming deflashing technology is an economic and efficient method forprocessing local precision profile parts.
