Coal is the main energy in China, but also an important chemical raw materials, itsshare in the energy structure in China the proportion of long-term in more than70%,therefore, play a decisive role in the coal industry plays a role in China’s economy.Although our country is rich in coal resources, but the per capita amount is relativelysmall, so one of the important problems to improve the recovery rate of coal resourcesin China is still coal enterprises must face.The general layout of section roadway in coal seam tunneling along the roof ortouch floor of coal seam excavation, and to experience the dynamic effects of two times,there are problems, poor safety, high cost, so the roadway excavation and maintenance.In order to protect the section tunnel, mainly from the support and section roadway coalpillar, roadway layout, consider. The above aspects in our experience has been usedsuccessfully as every mining area, roadway layout on the thick coal seam in fault typeand fault type layout method, roadway presents two supplement support, segmentbetween the setting of narrow coal pillar width of coal pillar and or without leaving coalpillar along gob the roadway along goaf roadway and the mode of practical technology.Taking Xishan Coal Group Xiqu mine as an example, using FLAC3D finitedifference software, using numerical simulation method, mainly in aspects of sectioncoal pillar width of reasonable design, section roadway layout and roadway protectionresearch, the last of a variety of analogthe calculation results of a comprehensiveanalysis and theoretical study of the combination of reasonable coal pillar width,roadway layout form and supporting parameters, which can improve the recovery ofcoal resources of the mining area to ensure safety in production under the premise.
