In recent years, the business of international contracting project of China is developinggreatly, which achieved continuous expansion in business scale, broad coverage in manycountries, continuous extension in different fields, steadily enlarge level of projects, strongcapability for big contracting company. Chinese contractors play more important roles in theinternational engineering contracting market. International project contracting becomes animportant mode to implement China’s strategy of "going out".Many Chinese companies are participating in international contracting projects, butthey have not enough experience and capability in the field of engineering management.Chinese companies should improve engineering quality, accelerate engineering process andreduce engineering cost by means of control of quality, process and cost, and achieve thepurpose of more efficient project management and stronger competitive capacity.
