With the worldwide education level rising, Teacher Professional Development receives more attention. As the basis of teachers’growth, Practical knowledge plays an important part in Teacher Professional Development. Knowledge-sharing is an effective way to develop practical knowledge, but there are many problems in the process. Knowledge-sharing based on the school range lacked high-quality resources. Knowledge-sharing based on the network range lacked professional guidance.In this case, the region, as an important environment for teacher growth, provides good space vector for teachers’practical knowledge-sharing. Virtual community of practice based on the real problems-solving encountered in the adult work. It supports adults’learning and reflection through the day-to-day social practice. It provides a new opportunity for the teachers’practical knowledge-sharing. Based on this, we are going to build the platform of Virtual Community of Practice for regional teachers. It based on solving the real problems encountered in the practice of teaching and teachers’teaching practice. It promotes the development of teachers’practical knowledge through the exchange and reflection.This research is mainly divided into six stages:theory analysis, survey research, model building, platform design, platform trial and reflection. Firstly, this study introduces the related theories and the core concepts; Secondly, this study researches and analyzes the situations and problems encountered of the primary and secondary school teachers’practical knowledge-sharing. It studies the demand of building support platform for them. Thirdly, this study designs the theoretical model of Virtual Community of Practice for regional teachers. Then, we develop the platform by SpaceBuilder. At last, we put the platform for a limited range of trial between the teachers’practical knowledge-sharing in Fu ling District of Chongqing, and summarize the application effect through case studies and surveys.The results show that:the platform of Virtual Community of Practice for regional teachers provides a good environment and tool support for teachers’practical knowledge-sharing. It provides professional guidance, group formation and activities designed. It inspires teachers’passion in participating knowledge-sharing and improves the quality and effectiveness of knowledge-sharing. It has a great help in solving the problems existing in the teachers’practical knowledge-sharing, also it enriches the theory of virtual communities of practice to a certain extent.
