Design And Implementation Of Document Delivery System Based On B/S

The delivery and management of documents are important for the administrative office, and its developmental level is of great significance for the regulation of working order and the improvement of teaching level in a university. There are two main methods such as manual work and the use of relative softwares for the delivery and management of documents. However, manual work already can’t satisfy the needs of our business due to the numerous dates, because large amount of tasks and tedious process involved in the process of delivering and managing files. Softwares such as general office automation systems and mailboxes are mainly focus on the production process of the files which means the process from generation to conveyance for the files. There is not a suitable system which can fully meet the demand for the inverse process of the conveyance of documents, namely the process of materials delivered.This article mainly carried on the thorough analysis and research to the document delivery system, put forward the theoretical basis and implementation approach of document delivery work. The background of the research and the significance of this topic firstly introduced in this paper, on the basis of a detailed analysis of the current demand of universities work and a thorough research of workflow technology and role-based management technology, we proposed the solution to the browser/server(B/S) structure and MVC structure system architecture. Secondly, the implementation and workflow of the system were discussed by the combination of the idea of that front and back managed separately, the modules and database of the system were also analyzed and designed, and some specific methods and program code analysis on the realization of some modules and functions were given in this paper. Finally, we analyzed and tested the system scientifically, and verified the operation mechanism of the system. The system can run perfectly through the tests.The document delivery system mainly achieved the tasks of work plan formulation, information dissemination, document collection workflow and document management etc, then the users can view the business cards of other staffs easily through this system. This system can meet the general needs of modern universities document delivery and management. Through this system, document can be passed easily between teachers and academic administrators without any intermediate process, and realized the networking and automation of administrative office.
