With the rapid development of economic construction, the use scope of dangerous goods is more and more widely and transporting of dangerous goods is becoming more and more frequently. Any accident occurred during transportation will seriously endanger public security and safety of property of people. To ensure the safety of transportation of dangerous goods, effective monitoring and management of dangerous goods transport vehicles are particularly important.This article designed the vehicle-mounted terminal with GPS as vehicle positioning means, GPRS as transmission media and combined the technology of GPS, GPRS, Google Map API, used Java language as the main development tool, Constructed dangerous goods transport vehicle monitoring center based on B/S architecture at the same time. Established the communication link between vehicle-mounted terminal and monitoring center according to the data communication protocol. Implemented the real-time map positioning function, history retrieval function, over speed alarm function, path matching function and area alarm function of monitoring center. All these things could be divided into the following several aspects:First, determined the monitoring center system adopts B/S architecture based on the analysis of function requirements and performance requirements.Second, carried on the design of vehicle terminal, chose PIC24HJGP502as the main control unit, GP3SF1513F1_S as GPS positioning module, SIM900A as GPRS module, AT24C08as the data storage module, completed the design of circuit board and program.Third, design the part of monitoring center. Implemented the design of database.According to the communication protocol, designed the communication link between the monitoring center and the vehicle-mounted terminal. Improved the real-time performance by optimizing the method of database access, the database connection pool and WEB service were designed to complete the user login function, real-time positioning function and history retrieval function.Finally, based on vehicle terminal has finished debug, a joint test had been done between the vehicle terminal and the monitoring center, preliminary road test on the target vehicle realized the expected function. The system has certain practical value.
