Mobile communication technology, has become one of the hottest technologies in thefield of communication today,which is the fastest growing and largest market potential.Thethird generation mobile communication technology (3G) in the world within a wide range ofapplications,including WCDMA,cdma2000and TD-SCDMA system.3G can provide basicdata and multimedia services,but is still a sense of weakness in the high-speed mobilemulti-media services.Mobile users need more colorful personalized service,and hope that allapplications on the Internet can be implemented in a mobile communication process.ThisIP-based multi-function network interworking function as one of the broadband mobilecommunication system.In order to meet the future needs of the high-speed transmission and awide range of mobile communication coverage, the MIMO technology has become one ofthe key technologies to meet the demand.First, the paper provided an overview of the basic concepts and principles of smartantenna, focused on the smart antenna beamforming technology principle, the formation ofa variety of beam algorithm than the examination of the pros and cons of each algorithm andthrough experimental simulation, after which according to this articleneed to meet therequirements of the algorithm were selected;Secondly, a detailed introduction to MIMOsystems and its space-time coding techniques, combined with the basic principles of MIMOsystems, makes a comparative study of existing several space-time encoding,to choose theexcellent space-time encoding by comparative analysis;Finally, combins the smart antennabeamforming algorithm and MIMO system space-time coding technologies, throughsimulation to verify the feasibility and rationality of the design program.Shortly, combined smart antennas with MIMO technology to study, Space-TimeBlock Codes combined beamforming technology simulation study and raise the design,and finally compared with existing MIMO systems. The simulation results show that thedesign, the only space-time block code MIMO system performance obviously improved inRayleigh fading environment.
