With the network and modern communication technology development, the requirement of the quality of life is increasing. Family intelligent is a high-tech product that the Information Age brings to people, which has already more and more got the good graces. It is an inevitable requirement that people pursue the high quality life state. The Smart Home will be not only an indispensable demand of the future life, but also has more broad market prospect. Meanwhile, the development of Smart Home will also vigorously promote to push the development of Internet of Things.This paper builds a wireless control system through the combine of the ARM and ZigBee in order to make user remote control living state through the Internet external. Household appliances build family wireless LAN through the ZigBee wireless network technique in order to realize the information home appliances and security appliances intelligent management internal.First of all, this paper mainly introduces the key technology used in the system and the comparison of existing short distance wireless communication technology. At the same time, this paper explores characteristics of the ARM processor and embedded Linux operating system. The overall design scheme is put forward in order to design hardware platform based on foundation building, and design every circuit module of the hardware platform, and finally completely finish the hardware structures of household controller, the core of intelligent household.The second part is the software part of the design and development. On the basis of hardware platform, family wireless local area network (WLAN) finishes the design of ZigBee household wireless terminator node and coordinator node software. The key lies in the software design household controller. Based on an ARM platform, embedded Linux operating system is transplanted, embedded Web server is built. At the end the software platform is completed.At the end is the design of gateway program CGI development. In this software design part, this paper introduces the working principle of CGI programs and intelligent household system CGI program development steps. After the completion of the platform of hardware and software, each function module is finally tested. At last function alignment was realized.The design based on ARM and ZigBee technology of the smart home wireless control system in this paper can remote control the household appliances in the family. This paper provides new opportunities for things networking development. The final outcome of the system debugging is able to meet the basic demand of users, this design is reasonable and it can achieve the expected goal.
