Today’s image sensor technology plays an extremely important role not only intraditional industrial image processing, but also in some new areas. CCD(Charge-Coupled Device) and CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)image sensor are two kinds of the most popular photo sensor now. The characteristicadvantages of CCD image sensor are that the images displayed by CCD image sensorare tarnally clear. Although the quality of the images displayed by CMOS image sensorscan not be much better than CCD’S, the CMOS image sensor has became more andmore important in the scopes of photo sensor technology gradually, even in some otherscopes like military, national defense and aerospace because of its characteristicadvantages, for example: high integrated, low power consume and low cost. Then in thisthesis, the detail architecture of a CMOS sensor chip which was designed with300,000-pixels array by self was introduced. The design of scheduling control circuitthe CMOS sensor is the key point of this thesis. The dynamic range of the sensor chiphas been a good upgrade by adding dual-slope integration design approach. Thesimulation results show that the dynamic range enhancement of9.5dB. Tape out hadbeen finished. Test results show that the function of the sensor meet the designrequirment and the quality of the images is very well. It is proved that this method ofcircuit of scheduling control designing in this thesis is correct.
