Isoline map showing trends in data by intuitive image, has been widely used in many production and practice areas such as petroleum exploration, mineral exploration, weather forecasting, geological disaster monitoring, etc. With the continued development of the automatic generating technology of isoline, a variety of complex surface isoline generating problems are emerging out. Therefore, studying the generation method of multivalued surface isoline is full of theoretical value and practical significance.This thesis taking the generation of multivalued surface isoline as the research subject, research the multivalued surface processing technology in gridding intensively and study the image vectorization technology thoroughly, then make the research results apply to a isoline drawing system in con1. Aiming at the limitations of traditional fault processing technology, this thesis present a multivalued surface spatial gridding algorithm. The algorithm makes full use of the location information of the grid points in the three-dimensional space, establishes a points-line compartmentation test guidelines, solves the problem of selection points in the gridding process of multivalued surface, and accomplishes the gridding of multivalued surface with reverse fault in the field of geological exploration. In addition, this thesis analyzes the time and space efficiency of the multivalued surface spatial gridding algorithm, summarizes the key factors affecting the efficiency of the algorithm through the simulation data, and maps out the isoline of actual geological explanation data with reverse fault. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the algorithm.2. Aiming at the needs of isoline digital input in isoline mapping system, this thesis improves and achieves an isoline vectorization method. This method including three steps:positioning correction algorithm of engineering drawings, grayscale algorithm of color maps, as well as the isoline intervals tracking algorithm. The isoline intervals tracking algorithm traces isoline directly on pixel level by non-thinning method, ensures the correctness by manual intervention, fits for the grayscale isoline image vectorization. This thesis proved the accuracy and effectiveness of this method by vectoring the actual isoline map in the isoline drawing system.
