The Transplantation Of Rich Media Player On The Android Platform

With the coming of the3G era, the internet technology and network facilities are improved greatly. Especially the multimedia technology and the broadband network of broadband network are developed rapidly. The network based mobile phone new media value-added services shows diversified trends, such as visual telephone、 Internet video、online music, etc. As the application of new media mobile phones becomes increasingly wide, people’s requirements on the media player are becoming higher and higher. The traditional media player lacks multimedia forms interaction, failing to meet people’s increasing requirements of the application experience. Based on the analysis of the media player, emphasis is placed on the realization of rich media technology on the Android platform.This thesis first describes the relevant technology about the design of rich media player, and then analyzes the module function of rich media player engine’s structure, including the porting layer, core layer, application layer. Then we analyzes the porting layer abstract interface functions, including audio and video function interface, the thread function interface, the event function interface and file system function interface in detail. Following, it shows the transplant interface on the Android platform. Finally, system integration tests are done, and the test results are analyzed. The purpose of this thesis is to apply rich media technology to design a rich media player running on the Android platform on the basis of analyzing the current mainstream media players. Through setting up the mobile media player experimental platform and developing rich mobile media player typical application, the feasibility of mobile rich media technology is verified.
