In order to reduce the cost and to improve efficiency, the shipbuilding technology above ground is more and more popular in offshore unit building in recent years. The corresponding technology of launching also gets developing rapidly. The method of launching with a barge seems become to the welcoming way to accompany shipbuilding above ground.In the method with a barge for launching, the ballast water in the barge should be adjusted continuously in the entire launching process to keep the barge’s deck horizontal and meet slipway surface on ground in the just same level. Therefore, the loading adjustment for a suitable barge is the key to the whole operation. It is the most important to get thorough and reliable loading plans, which should meet all requirements fully satisfy, for example, the float condition of the barge, stability and structural strength.At present, a lot of research in loading plan for this kind of launching is supported with deterministic calculations generally, which normally consider only two lines of ballast tanks to be used to water injection. This type of methods cannot be flexible enough to make satisfying loading plan in short time to adapt them to the loading operation in condition with rapid change, for example, tide levels change or ballast volume limitation. By using the genetic algorithm of cargo barges scheme optimization to realize adaptive cabin group of cargo. The research content involving the ship float state, stability calculation, scheme of strength, check the genetic algorithm is proposed to promote improvement, etc. Through the simplified model, make all ballast to participate in the stowage, and better meet the tidal levels, cabin let, intensity of limits, get more adapted to the plan of optimization scheme.
