College Library Information Service Mode Based On Sns Research

With the prevalence of Web2.0concepts in the library domain and the promotion of the relavant Web2.0applications, the library like an organism,changing their service ways and enriching their own service contents constantly.The rising of Web2.0technology promote the development of Blog、SNS、RSS technology,bring the opportunity of the library development, which make use of these technologies to serve users.The rising of SNS provide a good technology platform to the digital library undoubtedly.Allowing users to share resources with the other users who have common interests, beakthroughing the traditional library service mode, making the whole information communication more fluent.SNS are the abbreviations of social networking service.SNS has a strong social networking features.Meanwhile,the university library which as a information service constitution,take an important position.It’s important to suit to the new information enviroment,find an effective、 convenient information service mode.During the new information surroundings,user have more interactive demands,which hope to make connection with the librarian.From the aspect of using function,social network service could solve some problems of the university library,and achieve the effective interaction.To sum up,The thesis begin with a review that about the application of SNS websites in information science domain in domestic and in aboard.and then,finding university library mainly use three types SNS websites in their own library nowdays, which include social network website、book review website and micro-blog;and then,the aothor select three typical websites, which are widely used, renren website,douban website and xinlang micro-blog as the case study object,use the social network analysis method to do an empirical analysis that is about applying reasonable SNS websites in the university library to improve the information service quality.Finally,the author try to find out an effective information service mode and give some resonable suggestions.The first part of this thesis make a review on the relevant aspects about the using of social networking.The second part of the thesis introduce the concets of social network analysis method and some other related concepts, deeply elaborate the core concepts of social network analysis.The third part is the application of the empirical method,the author select popular social network websites which used by most people nowdays:renren website,douban website,and micro-blog of xinlang website respectively.The author try to find out the social network struture of these virtual communities and get some user features who use these SNS websites from the data analysis.What’s more, the fouth part introduce and analyze the university library information service status quo,and then make similar analysis on university library and social network service,get the conclusion of the.The fifth part that is mainly introducing the SNS mode in the information service of the university library,and make example analysis,make the suggestions of the library’s information service.The sixth part that is the conclusion of the thesis.In this thesis,the author mainly get some conclusions,including:the similarity of the SNS mode and university library information service mode; the existence of the "bridge"structure more suit the university library information service mode;SNS mode more achieve the expected transmiting effect of the information service;university library should choose their own suitable SNS mode to improve their information service.
