With the rapid development of information technology and network communication, information, as an important resource, is playing an increasingly important role in the production and life. In order to effectively prevent the third parties from stealing, destroying some important information illegally, information encryption and secure communication have become an important research topic on the field of information security. In recent years, some researchers show solicitude for the design and implementation of the chaotic encryption system because of its unique security features and encryption methods, which has effectively improved the level of information security technology. It has become an important complement of the traditional encryption algorithms.In this paper, a more security digital chaotic encryption system based on FPGA is realized. The design method of the communication module and external memory module is discussed emphatically. The main research content of this paper includes:(1) The traditional digital chaotic generator is effectively improved with the method of random disturbance and section mapping. The realization for each function module of the digital chaotic generator base on FPGA is discussed and simulated.(2) In terms of the communication module, the USB interface inculuding hardware design, firmware design, driver and application design is discussed in detail. The simulation results show that the communication between host computer and FPGA has been successfully implemented.(3) In terms of the external memory, the chapter focuses on the FPGA realization method of the DDR SDRAM controller, discusses the function of each module in controller design, and finally gives time sequence diagram of simulation operation reading DDR SDRAM by using the read/write control module.The simulation analysis and experimental validation base on image encryption show that the digital chaotic encryption system based on FPGA in this paper is highly safe, and it can be widely used in security fields including information encryption and data communications.
