At present, our country is being in the reform development crucial phase and the economicsociety develops the new stage, this set the new higher request to the land resources su pervisory work.At the same time, the economic globalization and the advance in technology, especially therapid development of IT has also brought new challenges, the land resources information system wasstill particularly our country profession GIS application hot spot domain, the land resourcesinformation construction is occupying the unprecedented development time, on the land resourcesmanagement itself, the technical crowded characteristic is remarkable, the information will safeguardand promotes in the scientific progress new mechanism to play the influential role surely in the landresources management construction.Builds the land resources Data Warehouse is designed to carries on land resources of the internaldata and external data effective integration, and parallel processing of stored data and convert it intoknowledge to use by at all levels of decision-making leadership and management andbusiness analysts, in order to send accurate information to decision makers, to enable him to makethe right decision analysis to improve the accuracy of decision-making and faster decisionmaking, obtains the high economic efficiency and the social effect.This article take GIS as the technological, and union space database theory knowledge, toconstruction the land resource data warehouse data management system which is to management anduse the database in data center’s each distributional deployment. This system including the basic datato create, import and export functions and so on, the user may act according to the different servicetype to construct the storehouse fast, and the database will use in the data issue and the dataapplication. The system mainly includes four parts: the tree of the data warehouse, data directorytree, the tree of layer management and three-dimensional layer tree. Data warehouse tree can reflectthe real database, where you can inquire and retrieve the real structure of the database. Through thedata directory tree to a custom directory and thematic data, through the bound data source tocomplete the thematic data, Data applications can use custom directory for thematic analysis, andcan browse the data through two and three-dimensional layer.
