Adolescent Mental Health is a global topic, the situation is particularly serious in China. By the literature review, the author is more aware of the importance of adolescent maintaining the mental health and the essential of social work intervention in this field.The author uses action research methods, and chooses the researching situation set in S hospital mental ward. Based on the humanistic mode, the author selects seven adolescent who have mental health problems as research subjects, raising and analyzing their problems’performances and reasons to develop a social work service plan. Moreover, assessment and reflection are through to the end of the whole implementation process.I found the research subjects have the desire of self-realization, but the requests by parents and other external pressures forced them lost, the result that they can not reach the external requests lead to the inferiority mentality, and eventually they got in trouble in many mental health problems, like academic difficulties, social phobia, emotional distortion, parent-child alienation, network obsession, and so on.The author combines the research subjects’case and group work with parents’case and group interview as a new working mode which called "adolescent-parents" two-wire working mode. On the basis of a trust relationship, the author assists the research subjects to accept themselves, find their potential and solve the problems, while giving parents guidance to create a harmonious atmosphere of the growth of.In terms of intervention skills, according to the actual situation of the adolescent’s families in China, the author critically inherits the humanistic mode, flexible grasping the principle of non-directive and making appropriate intervention of values to the research subjects and their parents in the service process. The whole methods of work not only make a development of the theory of social work in the field of local adolescent mental health services, but also offer a new perspective for practice.
