Explore The Micro-blog Era Of College Students’ Ideological And Political Education Work

An emerging network technology called micro-blog comes into being recently, along withsocial progress and development. Micro-blog has attracted a vast number of netizens since it’sintroduced to the internet. And the college students have gradually become the main users ofmicro-blog because they have good cognition, active thinking and great curiosity for new things. Soit will be very necessary to pay attention to the ideological and political education in the micro-blogenvironment.In my opinion, micro-blog could be used into ideological and political education work, thusin the long run it will expand a new education field. Introducing micro-blog into the ideological andpolitical education not only conforms to the social development, but also to meet the requirementsof modern education. Micro-blog is both a challenge and an opportunity to the ideological andpolitical education. And we should actively meet the opportunity and challenge. Therefore, weshould make full use of micro-blog and make great advancement in the ideological and politicaleducation.This article starts from the characteristics of micro-blog, and takes status quo of the currentideological and political work into consideration, then focuses on opportunities and challenges forthe ideological and political education in the micro-blog environment.
