Tourism is playing a more and more significant role in the national economy. The price of tourism product which is the important economic levers of regulating the tourism market and coordinating the interests of related economic entities also attracts more concern and attention. Reasonable systematic tourism products price and orderly market are inseparable from the supervision of the government. In this study, corresponding countermeasures are put forward based on a deep research on tourism products price of government regulation with related problems.This paper first gives a profound discussion of the characteristics and status of current tourism product price, raising the necessity of government regulation. Through an analysis of existing data and the specific needs of this study, public goods theory and the theory of principal-agent theory are chosen out. In this paper, the factors influencing government’s regulating product price are analysed according to the practical situation of product price based on the study of attributes> characteristics and basic components of government regulation. As scientific regulation is not enough, regulatory process is not standardized and the system is not perfect, after analysing deeply related reasons, effective measures like making sound tourism regulatory rules are put forward.In this paper, new thoughts and theoretical basis are offered through government’s studying tourism product price at all levels, providing beneficial references for more effective supervision of tourism products price and broadening the research field and practical way for the government to regulate the price of tourism product.
