Psoriasis is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease and easy to relapse. It’s an un-explainederythematous scaly skin diseases which is called "white Mange" in TCM.The dis-ease is characterized by multiplesilvery white scaly on the erythema。When scrape off the scales, it visible like bleeding drops of dew point。Its manifestation is long duration, recurrent attacks and difficult to cure.The disease has higher incidence and long duration, easy to re-lapse, especiallyalways attackyoung people, which have a great effect on physical and mental health ofpatients. Thus,psoriasis is becoming one of the key research diseases in the field of dermatology.This thesis includes two parts:literature review and clinical research.Literature review:this part have two articles, one expounds the current status of the ther-apy of the TCM by looking up the clinical data of psoriasis. The other expounds the research progress of Chinese medicine granules by looking upthe literatures about the analysis of theingredients,pharmacologyand curative effectof Chinese medicine granules.Clinical research.Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of Chinese medicinal granules treatment of psoriasis vulgaris of blood heat and the difference ofthe effectiveness of Chinese medicinal granules and decoction.Method:Enroll60psoriasis patients according to the diag-nostic criteria of TCM. And randomly divided them into two groups, theChinese medicinal granules was the therapy group, the decoction was thecontrol group. After4weeks treatment, record their PASI scores and the symptoms of TCM at baseline,the second and fourth week. All analyses were managed by SPSS18.0software.Result:There were57of60patients com-plicated the research.28of57in the therapy group, and29of57in the control group. There was no difference about the gender, age composition, duration of disease in both of the groups before the treatment, which is comparable. After4weeks treatment, both of the PASI scores in2groups decreased(P<0.05), which shown that both of the drugs had satisfactorycurative effect. The total effective percentage were71.4%in the therapy group and65.5%in the control group. This difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both of the the Chinese medicinal granules and the decoction have a good curative effect onthe psoriasis vulgaris of blood heat and there is no difference in efficacy.
