Postpartum body pain, characterized by common general body aches, numb, heaviness, pain of illness, occurred in the puerperal period (including miscarriage, abortion) Based on the clinical observation from June2012to March2013, there are more than28%of the visiting postpartum body pain patients whose symptoms have least for months, even more than one year. These patients’illness has been developing to chronic condition which has given a great impact on patients’life quality, and brought heavy burden to their family and society. By searching for the relevant literatures on CNKI, we got to know that the traditional Chinese medicine has obvious advantages on treating postpartum body pain, compared to western medicine. Today, the methods of TCM treatment for postpartum body pain are diversified, tending to synthetically therapeutic regimen. This paper explores advantages of traditional Chinese medicine and its therapeutic techniques and seeks for economic, effective, safe and low side effects of TCM treatment.[Objective] This paper will use gynecology of TCM and the round-sharp needle therapy theory and observe the curative effect of clinical patients in Xlyuan Hospital CACMS who suffers from kidney qi deficiency syndrome of postpartum body pain, by treating with the round-sharp needle therapy combined with parasitic and subtract Duguojisheng decoction. Postpartum body pain will be explored and discussed from the three aspects:literature research, clinical practice, and clinically characteristics of the chronic syndromes. This study is aim to provide an effective therapeutic regimen for relevant professionals or patients, and to improve clinical effect of treating the illness.[Methods] The research object is the patients who suffered from postpartum body pain at the chief physician of general medicine, He Liangzhi’s outpatient in Xlyuan Hospital CACMS. Since there is no unified standard scale for diagnosis or measurement for postpartum pain, this study uses the theory and method in the following books or relevant materials: Gynecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2nd ed.) published by China Press of traditional Chinese Medicine, the chapter of diagnosis standard of TCM syndrome in Chinese Rheumatology, thellth Five-year Plan State Key Books:Obstetrics and Gynecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine [df joint pain of postpartum women, NPRS and postpartum symptom rating scale(attachment2), as well as baseline data and questionnaire (attachment I)]. This paper will analyze and discuss relevant data after completing questionnaires and rating scale. Hospitalized patients with kidney deficiency pattern of postpartum body pain from June2012to March2013were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.25cases of each.The control group takes parasitic and subtracts Duguojisheng decoction, and the treatment group uses the round-sharp needle therapy combined with parasitic and subtract Duguojisheng decoction, both for2weeks of treatment. Decoction is taken a dose daily, and decocted with water twice that is taken in the morning and evening. For round-sharp needle therapy, there are five times in a treatment,3-4treatments per week. The continuous observation records of two treatment courses will be used to evaluate the pain degree, the changes of signs and symptoms.[Results] Clinical observation shows that the round-sharp needle therapy combined with parasitic and subtract Duguojisheng decoction achieves100%efficiency and this therapeutic regimen acquires satisfied effect in the first week of treatment. The round-sharp needle method’s strongly stimulation without needle retention can directly reach the spots, urge meridian circulation smoothly, promote the circulation of qi.invigorate the circulation of blood, clear and activate the channels and collaterals, which leads to no pain as result of unobstructed meridian.In the first week of treatment, the improvements and pain release level from the treatment group obviously works earlier and higher than the control group. In the second week of treatment, the mean of pain release of the control group falls more sharply than the treatment group and shows its curative effect obviously, while the mean of pain release of treatment group also significantly falls average effectively, but compared with the first week, it shows that the round-sharp needle therapy for the treatment of pain symptoms during early treatment works more effectively than continuous treatment. In addition, in order to measure of central tendency for the comparison of two groups of statistics, both groups have a high efficacy. In the pain scores.5cases (20%) of the treatment group have been clinically cured, and20cases are markedly improved (80%); while6cases (24%) of control group are markedly improved, and19cases (76%) take effect. In the comprehensive symptoms and signs,6cases (24%) of treatment group have been clinically cured, and9cases (36%) are markedly effective, and10cases (40%) take effect; while7cases (28%) of control group have been clinically cured, and11cases(44%) take effect. The findings above indicate that in the treatment of postpartum body pain, especially pain aspect, the round-sharp needle therapy combined with parasitic and subtract Duguojisheng decoction works more efficiently than uses the decoction only. [Conclusion] Both round-sharp needle therapy combined with parasitic and subtract Duguojisheng decoction and Duguojisheng decoction only are able to relieve postpartum body pain, but the former can alleviate pain earlier, release symptoms, and delay relapse. The round-sharp needle therapy combined with parasitic and subtract Duguojisheng decoction is a high efficient, yet safe and simple Chinese medicine therapy, which obtain satisfactory curative effect in clinical practice, and is more worthy for further promotion.
