Determined the insulin and GSK-3, GLUT-4expression levels in liver tissue by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent. Observed the structure characteristics of the organization, and the distribution of glycogen in the liver cells by PAS dyeing method.Result:1. BanxiaXiexin decoction can effectively maintain the stability of the diabetic rats weight, reduce mortality.2.BanxiaXiexin decoction can significantly reduce diabetic rats fasting blood sugar level, and can markedly improve insulin resistance level.3. BanxiaXiexin decoction can significantly reduced GSK-3activity, improve liver GLUT4expression, and increase the diabetic rats liver and muscle tissue of glycogen content.4. BanxiaXiexin decoction can improve the diabetic rats in the content of the pituitary gland MC4R, restrain food intake.5.the role of the banxiaxiexin decotion,presents certain concentration-response dependcies.Conclusion:BanxiaXiexin decoctizdd on can obviously improve the general condition of the diabetic rats and reduce rat fasting blood sugar level, and significantly reduced insulin resistance index, its mechanism are related to improve the body in glucose metabolism transport protein level to strengthen the organization to the use of glycogen and storage.
