In recent years, the physique of middle school students has been declining. This is closely connected with their improper, unscientific and imperfect dietary nutrition. The nutritional status in an important factor in students’ growth for they are just in the peak time of growing development. Good nutrition, enough exercise and proper work and rest is the three vital factors that influence the growth of body and mind. In adolescent, students" physical development is very fast, each organ is increasing, and the functions of brain, heart, liver and kidney enhance too. Plus the intense learning and various activities, they need more calories and nutrition. It is just because that the middle school students are in the key period of growth development that the adequate dietary nutrition is the vital prerequisite and basis for their growth development. The nutrition investigation in Chengxiang middle school in Huidong County, Huidong City will provide us a scientific basis to improve their dietary nutrition, and thus propose the plans and measures to realize it. And find whether there are enough supplements for their dietary nutrition in the daily three meals and whether there are balanced meals. We also hope this can arouse more people’s attention on middle school students’nutrition, in this way the students can get a safe protect for their growth. This paper mainly concentrates on the research of Chengxiang Middle School students in Huidong County, Huizhou City, though the methods of questionnaire survey, experts’interview, literature studies, logical analysis and others, as well as the dietary analysis and nutrition assessment software exploited by Wangshi Company. The author analyses various nutrition taken in each meal by each student, and fills the relative data into the SPSS to make a statistical analysis. According to the present problems in their diet, this paper provides some methods to improve.1.1. The heat source of students from urban middle school in Huidong County Huidong city is higher than that of students from rural middle school.2. The three major nutrients source (protein, fat, carbohydrate) of students from urban middle school in Huidong County Huidong city is more adequate than that of students from rural middle school.3. The source of calories, protein, and iron of students from urban middle school in Huidong County Huidong city is higher than that of students from rural middle school. 4. The malnutrition of students from rural middle school in Huidong County Huidong city is more serious than that of students from urban middle school.5. Students with obesity and overweight from urban middle school in Huidong County Huidong city are more and more day by day.6. Most of the daily intake nutrients of students from rural middle school in Huidong County Huidong city is lower than that of students from urban middle school.7. Daily intake of potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc of students from both urban and rural middle school in Huidong County Huidong city is lower than the recommended standard amount.8. Daily intake of vitamin B1and vitamin A of students from both urban and rural middle school in Huidong County Huidong city is lower than the recommended standard amount.
