Profit Lung Breeze Method Of Clinical Research For The Treatment Of Bronchial Asthma, Chronic Duration

Bronchial asthma is a kind of allergic airway disease. In recent years, the incidence of asthma is increasing. The disease threats the health of human being seriously, and brings great suffering and economic burden to society, family and individuals. It has become one of the world-recognized medical problem, due to its recurrent, refractory and protracted. How to effectively ease asthma attack effectively has become the focus of many doctors. In this study, we apply the method of tonifying the lung and dispelling the wind to treat asthma chronicity-persistent period under the guidance of instructors. The study can provide new ideas and methods for the prevention and treatment of asthma with Chinese medicine.Objective:To observe the effect of tonifying the lung and dispelling wind method on the treatment of bronchial asthma chronicity-persistent period.Methods:60cases belonging to lung-qi deficiency syndrome with bronchial asthma chronicity-persistent period were selected and randomly divided into30cases of traditional Chinese medicine treatment (treatment group) and30cases of western medicine treatment (control group). Treatment group was given Yifei Shufeng Decoct ion per os, control group was given Seretide (50ug/250ug) inhaled.90days is the course of treatment. The score of symptoms and signs before the treatment and30,60, and90days during the treatment were determined. The comprehensive curative effects were compared. Before and after the treatment, pulmonary function test, asthma control test score, the change of eosinophils, as well as the number of the acute attack of asthma were all recorded. The resul ts were analyzed with the SPSS16.0Statistics software.Results:When in the treatment of30days, the treatment group had a significant improvement in phlegm, wheeze, throat itch; meanwhile and the control group was obviously good efficacy in reducing wheeze. The treatment group improved expectoration, pharyngeal itching significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). When in the treatment of60days, the treatment group had a significant improvement in respite, cough, expectoration, wheeze, afraid of the wind, itchy throat, and the control group was obviously good efficacy in reducing respite, chest tightness and wheeze. As to cough, afraid of the wind, itchy throat, the treatment group is significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). When in the treatment of90days, the treatment group had a significant improvement in respite, cough, expectoration, chest tightness, wheeze, spontaneous sweating, afraid of the wind, itchy throat, however the control group was obviously good in reducing chest tightness and wheeze. The treatment group is significantly better than the control group (P<0.05) in cough, expectoration, spontaneous sweating, afraid of the wind, itchy throat. On the synthetic effect of the disease, the effective rate of treatment group was86.67%, that of control group was83.33%, there was no s ignif icant difference between two groups (P>0.05). During the treatment, the number of acute attacks was lower than that before treatment; there was no significant difference between two groups (P>0.05) Comparison of lung function, the two groups after treatment were significantly higher. PEF, FEV1.PEF improvement in the treatment group was significant better than the control group (P<0.05). Two groups of eosinophil count after treatment were significantly lower, had no difference between the two groups (P>0.05) Asthma control test (ACT) score on the two groups after treatment were significantly increased, there was no difference between groups (P>0.05) Treatment group had no obvious adverse reactions, such as liver and kidney function index showed no abnormalities. Yifei Shufeng Decoction is safe in clinical use.Conclusion:According to the pathogenesis of asthma chronicity-persistent period, the disease is rooted in lung, wind is the incentive factor, we treat it with Yifei Shufeng decoction, which can tonic the lung and dispel wind. The method can effectively improve symptoms, reduce asthma exacerbations, improve lung function. It can improve the patient’s health and quality of life significantly.
