In the national "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the country is focus on the development plan to improve environmental protection and economic policies, and vigorously develop the environmental protection industry.With the "Flat Glass Industry atmospheric pollutants emission standards " effectted on October1,2011, the glass industry is facing severe environmental requirements in the denitration, glass furnace flue gas denitrification will be in full swing. The paper is based on a glass furnace flue gas denitrification project. The project’s main task is to design a control system which line with flue gas pollutants discharge standard and use PLC technology based on PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus.This paper first summarizes present situation and development trend of the flue gas denitrific-ation technology. After analyze the glass furnace object, the technical parameters and the system design requirements, We design glass furnace flue gas denitrification control system’s overall program. On these basies, we design and research the control strategy, complete the ammonia flow rate and outlet NOx concentration control and dilution air flow rate control strategy based on Matlab simulation. Then, complete a detailed design of the overall system, finish hardware design (including hardware selection, system configuration and electrical design) and software design (including control software and monitoring software design). Finally, the system debug is worked done by the joint debugging method of PLC and virtual controlled object, as well as discuss and study some engineering problems.This paper is based on SCR control system design of the glass furnace flue gas denitrification system. Energy conservation and emission reduction concept is the key point in the design process of the system. The results of the work improve the level of automation and control in glass furnace flue gas denitrification, promot security and stability in glass furnace’s operation.
