The commercial characteristic of products contains certain negative factors whileproviding services for people: driven by commercial interests, the absence of the moralconcepts in modern product design, production and circulation fields are graduallyexposed, which lead to the environment that humans must rely on continue to bedestroyed and cause serious harm to the sustainable development of human society.Therefore, in order to change the current status quo, it’s necessary for the workers toreflect on the moral issues existed in the industry of modern product design, production,circulation. Finally, make the creation activities become reasonable means of subsistencein future by improving the personal moral cultivation.Song and Ming Dynasties have obtained the magnificent achievement in the historyof creations, which is intrinsically linked with the unique moral training concept.Therefore, the author, proceeding from angle of the ethics, make an explorative researchon the combination of moral values in Song and Ming dynasties and modern productdesign in order to provide new ideas for product design and sustainable development ofhuman society. First, the author makes analysis on the content, the method, the purposeof moral values in Song and Ming dynasties, and combining with the creation activitiesin that time, to seek a combination point of moral cultivation and product design.Ultimately, the thesis draws product design inspiration from moral cultivation andcreature concept, completing the shaping of personal moral values in modern productdesign, production and circulation fields, promoting the establishment of the productmoral evaluation system; establishing “harmonious world” for the purpose of modernproduct design development goals.
