Serum Interleukin-17、Periostin、Eotaxin Levels And Its Clinical Significance In Asthma

Objective:In this study,we investigate the levels of serum interleukin-17、periostin、Eotaxin in asthma patients and asthma with rhinitis patients during the acute exacerbationand remission.,therefore to explore the role of IL-17、 periostin、 Eotaxin in thepathogenesis of bronchial asthma.Method: Twenty asthma patients were chosen as asthma group and twenty asthma withrhinitis patients were enrolled as asthma with rhinitis in this study. Twenty-three healthypeoples who undenwent routine physical examination were admitted as well. The serumlevels of IL-17、periostin and Eotaxin were detected for each patients in stage of attack andremission and for control group. Other data including immunoglobulin E (IgE)、the percentof eosinophilic cells(Eos%)and the pulmonary function (FEV1%pred) were measured aswell. The differences of the each cytokines between in asthma group and asthma withrhinitis group before and after the treatment and control group were analyzed,and thecorrelation between IL-17、Eotaxin and FEV1%pred were analyzed as well by SPSS software.Result:1. IL-17, Periostin、 Eotaxin in asthma exacerbation and remission content{（831.63±23.56）pg/ml、（196.47±6.54）ng/ml、（231.98±9.18）ng/l}and{（607.73±17.71）pg/ml、（144.09±4.10）ng/ml、（174.44±5.83）ng/l}，the attack of asthma associated withrhinitis group and remission content were {（794.94±26.88）pg/ml、（205.09±9.20）ng/ml、（238.53±9.70）ng/l}and{（562.29±17.39）pg/ml、（138.75±6.06）ng/ml、（163.36±3.94）ng/l} compared with the control group {（367.47±18.16）pg/m、（93.38±3.32）ng/ml、（108.11±4.33）ng/l} were significantly increased (P <0.05), the attack were higher thanthose in remission (P<0.05)2. IgE, Eos%in exacerbation and remission of asthma group were {（855.50±174.48）iu/ml、(6.33±0.81)%}and{（107.34±6.53）iu/ml、(3.09±0.21)%}， associated with asthma exacerbation and remission rhinitis group were {（518.86±107.89）iu/ml、(6.67±1.01)%}和{（153.73±23.43）iu/ml、(3.25±0.41)%}compared with the control group {（83.96±6.14）iu/ml、（2.24±0.19）%}was significantly higher (P <0.05), the attack were higher than inremission (P <0.05).3. Asthma group and asthma associated with rhinitis group was no significant difference(P>0.05).4. There were negative correlations between the levels of IL-17、 Eotaxin andFEV1%pred(P <0.05)Conclusion:Our results suggest the level of IL-17、periostin、Eotaxin participate in thepathogenesis of asthma, and play stimulation role in the process of the disease...
