Objective:Embryonic arrest can cause embryonic deaths, ultimately lead to miscarriage and a serious threat to women’s physical and mental health. In recent years, pregnant women occur embryonic arrest showed the trend of increased year by year, not only caused a serious harm to patient’s health, it also brought a heavy psychological burden to patients and families. The etiology and mechanism of embryonic arrest is very complex and may be associated with chromosomal factors, immune factors, endocrine factors, the factors of infection, genital diseases, of maternal acute and chronic disease, and the growing concern of environmental factors, but the specific factors and the mechanism is still not clear, and because to the different from the ethnicity, living habits, the environment of the different parts and so on on, lead to in each of our geographical embryonic the related risk factors of embryonic arrest the are not the same. Therefore,to study and investigate related risk factors causing embryonic arrest for the purpose of providing theoretical basis for early prevention and treatment of this disease.Method:The case-control study was applied to the disease group (200cases, diagnosed as embryonic arrest via B-ultrasound), and the control group (200cases, diagnosed as normal via B-ultrasound). Both two groups were from the Taian Maternal and Child Care Service Center Hospital and the obstetric out-patient clinic of No.2Hospital of Shandong University examined during May1,2010to May1,2012. Questionnaire survey was carried out amount the two groups with the PREGNANT WOMAN HEALTH CONDITION QUESTIONNAIRE noon the object of study basic situation, living habits, work environment, reproductive tract infections and embryo may have effect factors designed with epidemiological method. Statistical analysis was applied to these relevant factors with the single-factor chi-square tests and multivariate unconditional logistic regression of the SPSS Statistics17.0utilities.Results:1Related risk factors of embryonic arrest for pregnant woman’s habits and customs include gestation period use of computer time>4h/d(OR=3.026,95%CI:0.870~11.209), staying up late(OR=8.827,95%CI:0.479~8.384) and smoking(OR=3.54995%CI:0.251~7.917).2Related risk factors of embryonic arrest for pregnant woman’s living and working circumstances include household decoration within one year before pregnancy(OR=2.037,95%CI:1.357~3.058) and exposure to noise(OR=3.484,95%CI:1.377~8.817) or vibration at work(OR=2.152,95%CI:1.395~3.320)。3Related risk factors of embryonic arrest for pregnant woman’s infection include mycoplasma infection(OR=1.700,95%CI:0.517~4.948) and chlamydia infection(OR=1.972,95%CI:1.208~3.221)。4Others include the immune factor of positive anti-sperm antibodies(OR=2.787,95%CI:1.300~5.970)。Conclusion:staying up late, smoking, long time of computer use, household decoration within one year before pregnancy, exposure to noise or vibration at work, pathogenic microorganism infection such as mycoplasma and chlamydia and anti-sperm antibodies is risk factors causing embryonic arrest...
