The Effectiveness Of Improved Hamra Blepharoplasty For Patients With Both Eyebags And Obvious Tear Trough Deformity

Objective:Observe the effectiveness of improved Hamra blepharo--plastyfor patients having both eyelid bags and obvious tear trough deformity.Materials and Methods：Collect24cases from first hospital of JilinUniversity,during2011to2013. All patients were having both eyelid bags andobvious tear trough deformity. And the lowest point of the tear trough deformityis more than5mm away from arcus marginalis。And they all received Hamrablepharoplasty by the same surgeon. Contrast the photos before and afteroperation，and inquire patients’ degree of satisfaction.Results：All23patients were followed up from1to12months，and onlyone person was out of line.The result reveals that Hamra’s septal reset operationthrough a transcutaneous approach not only remove the prolapse of eyelidbags,but also remedy the tear trough deformity better,rejuvenate the orbital region.And there is no obvious complication afert surgery.All patients with follow-upwere satisfied with their yonger looks.Conclusion: The improved Hamra blepharoplasty is efficious to patientshaving both eyelid bags and obvious tear trough deformity. It is fit for patientswith the lowest point of the tear trough deformity that is more than5mm awayfrom arcus marginalis...
