Clinical Control Study On The Effect Of Catgut Implantation At Acupoint And Acupuncture On Treating Lumbar Muscle Strain

Object:By randomized controlled study and observation,to objectively the different clinical effect between the Catgut Implantation at Acupoint and ordinary acupuncture on treating chronic lumbar muscle strain at the same points.Methods:Study objects were qualified Patients with chronic lumbar muscle srain. hey were assigned to the test group and the control group and this trial divided into two group by Draw method which come from simple random grouping methods. Two groups selecting same points:BL23(both sides), BL25(both Sides), BL58(both Sides), Ashi points. treatment totally for10times.10times as a course, observe the effect after a course.Statistical analysis and data summary:Using statistical software SPSS17.0to complete statistical analysis..Using statistical software to analyze and compare the overall clinical effect,clinical symptoms and signs effect after treatment.Results:60patients, when finished completion of treatment process55cases.loss3cases and eliminate the person2cases. Through the whole course of treatment, and the meridian buried in the quad,2cases with clinical cure after treatment, and patients were markedly improved, with16patients effective,2cases with no condition improved,55cases of the patients complete the study. The total effective rate of the catgut Implantation at acupoint group is92.86%. Ordinary acupuncture group, patients with clinical cure in0case, and patients with markedly improved in3, effective21cases of patients with three patients is invalid, The total effective rate of the ordinary acupuncture group is88.89%. When the treatment is finished. There has a statistical significance of effectiverate (P<0.01), between the two groups before and after the symptoms+signs integral, NRS score, PPI score comparison; The treatment ended two comparison between qol, symptoms differences between points+signs were have statistically significant (P<0.05); there’s no statistically significant (P>0.05).between digital grading scale (NRS) and existing pain intensity scale (PPI). After a month follow-up,50patients underwent follow-up, fall off in5patients. The two groups before treatment compared with follow-up, above, and the evaluation index were have statistically significant difference (P<0.05), two groups after treatment with follow-up comparison, two groups of follow-up, there were no comparison between groups statistical differences (P>0.05).Conclusions:The treatment of the catgut Implantation at acupoint group and the ordinary acupuncture group both have effect on Cervical Type CS, and the Catgut Implantation at acupoint group is superior to the ordinary acupuncture group of recent clinical efficacy. We can choose the catgut Implantation at acupoint group to treat chronic lumbar muscle strain to get a better effect.
