Objectives:The research is to survey the self-rated health status of community nurses inChangchun, and to study the related factors effecting on self-rated health status ofcommunity nurses. The purpose lies in further enhancing their health consciousness,and puting forward the corresponding intervention measures to prevent or mitigaterelated factors to affect their health, in order to raise the level of community nurses’overall health, objectively and scientifically evaluate health status and improve thenursing service quality to provide important reference basis.Methods:Changchun is divided into six districts including chaoyang district, green parkdistrict, kuancheng district, nanguan district, erdao district, and shuangyang district.We chose convenience sampling method and four districts from Changchun on June1st,2012to September30th.Then cluster sampling method was chose and carried onquestionnaire to460community nurses who fit the requirements. The questionnairechooses demographic sociology material form and Self-rated Health MeasurementScale (SRHMS). Investigators distribute460questionnaires. Then they retrieved425effective questionnaires, and the coefficient of recovery was92.39%. They useEpiData3.1software based on the database, to double enter the data, and useSPSS17.0for Windows to carry out data statistics analysis. Statistical description,one-factor analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. Measurement datause mean±standard deviation to describe, counting material is in the form ofconstituent ratio to statistical description, and the related factors impact of communitynurses’ self-rated health with single factor and the multiple stepwise regressionanalysis, etc. Results:1. Community nurses’ in Changchun self-rated physiological, mental, socialhealth and overall health condition is good.The mean score of self-rated physiological health of Community nurses inChangchun is8.70±1.03points (actual value/theoretical value is87.0%); the meanscore of self-rated mental health is8.27±1.65points (82.7%); the mean score ofself-rated social health is8.44±1.38points(84.4%); the mean score of self-ratedoverall health is8.48±1.22points(84.8%). Ratio of the actual value/theoretical peakvalue is above80.0%(>70.0%),so proving health of community nurses is in theupper level and overall health self-test in good condition.2. The main factors influencing self-rated health community nurses inChangchun are age, work years, marital status, professional title, employment form,work units and month gross income are.The differences of community nurses’ in Changchun self-rated physiologicalhealth, mental health, social health son scales, and overall health in different agegroups are statistical significances (P <0.05). The influence of different work yearson community nurses is reflected in three son scales of self-rated health and overallhealth evaluation (P <0.05).Different marital status of community nurses, its healthscores were significantly different. The differences of community nurses’ self-ratedphysiological health, social health son scales, and overall health evaluation arestatistical significances (P <0.05). To a certain extent, professional title is the symbolof personal ability of nurses. The differences of community nurses’ three son scales ofself-rated health and overall health in different professional title groups are statisticalsignificances (P <0.01).In accordance with the different employment form forgrouping, the differences of community nurses’ self-rated physiological health, andoverall health in different professional title groups are statistical significances (P <0.05).According to different work unit groups, the differences of community nurses’in Changchun self-rated physiological health, mental health, social health son scales,and overall health are significant (P <0.05).Nurses who are different with month gross income, the differences of community nurses’ in Changchun self-ratedphysiological health, mental health, social health, and overall health are significant (P<0.01).3. Multiple stepwise regression analysis shows that: the community nurses’health is influenced by marital status, education degree, professional title and thework units.Other (divorce, widowed) community nurses compared with unmarried, healthscore is lower, stating their health status is worse than unmarried nurse; Bachelordegree or above compared with technical secondary school or below, their healthstatus score lower; Senior nurse compared with professional title for nurses, seniornurse’ community nurses health level is lower; Nurses who work in the communityhealth service station compared with in the service center, health condition is worse.Conclusions:1. Self-rated physiological, mental, social health and overall health condition ofcommunity nurses in Changchun is good.2. Community nurses’ in Changchun daily life function, positive emotional,cognitive function and the social support condition are less affected by demographicsociology factors.3. Age, marital status, work years, employment form, education degree,professional title, work units and month gross income are the main factors influencingself-rated health community nurses in Changchun.
