| Objective:The objective of the study is to evaluate the clinical effects of Lumbar Disc Herniation Combine Lumbar Gluteal Myofascial Pain Syndrome (LDH-MPS) treated by Akupotomye Treatment. Methods:According to the standards of inclusion criteria, The patients admitted as outpatient to department of Orthopedics Ward3of Xiamen Province Hospital of TCM from December2010to September2012with LDH-MPS were enrolled. The patients were randomly and equally divided into two groups. Methods130patients with LDH-MPS were divided into two groups, control group (65cases) and treatment group(65cases).There were59patients of control group left when the final treatment plan completed. The number of treatment group is61.The control group treated by acupuncture treatment. Select paravertebral point, Dachangshu point, Huantiao point, Ashi point for treating, Acupuncture once every two days. Retaining the needle for20minutes, One course of treatment is fifteen times. The61cases of treatment group were treated by Akupotomye therapy. Select paravertebral point, Dachangshu point, Huantiao point, Ashi point for this treatment. Choose3-4points for Akupotomye therapy base on the clinical symptom of patient. Use Akupotomye therapy once every two days. One course of this treatment is three times.Keep observing the outcome of the treatment of this two group. The scores of visual analog scale and Fairbank JC scores before and after treatment were individually compared in order to observe clinical efficacy. Finally, analyze the data statistically by using the statistical software SPSS16.0for windows.Results:1. The difference between the two groups on sex, age, the course of disease, were not significant (P>0.05).2. Visual analog scale:There was significant differences(P<0.05)in scores of visual analog scale before and after treatment between group, which indicated that treatments of both groups could alleviate the symptoms of LDH-MPS patients. There was significant differences(P<0.05)among two groups in the scores of visual analog scale after one course of treatment and same to3month after treatment, which indicated the clinical effectiveness of treatment group is better than control group.3. JOA scores:There were significant differences except clinical symptom scores and clinical signs score (P<0.05) in two groups between the scores of JOA after one course of treatment. There were significant differences (P<0.05) among two groups between the scores of JOA after3month after treatment. which indicated the two methods of treatment could improve the clinical symptoms and clinical signs, same as ability of daily life; The treatments of treatment group was superior to control group and curative effect is stable within three months4. Pressure points comparison:There was significant differences(P<0.05)in number of Pressure points before and after treatment between group, which indicated that treatments of both groups could reduce the pressure point of LDH-MPS patients. There was no significant differences(P>0.05)among two groups after one course of treatment. There was significant differences(P<0.05)among two groups after3month of treatment. which indicated the treatment group had a better curative effect than control group in treatment of Pressure points.5. Treatment effective rate:The effective rate after one course of the treatment of control group was84.74%and treatment group is93.44%; The total effective rate after3month of the treatment of control group was74.57%and treatment group is90.01%.By means of statistics analysis, there was significant differences(P<0.05)among both groups between the scores of Fairbank JC before and after treatment, and same to3month after treatment in total effective rate, There were significant differences (P<0.05) among two groups between recurrence rate. which indicated that treatments of treatment group was superior to control group, and also decrease the recurrence rate in3month.Conclusion:1. Two treatments both have effect efficacy to LDH-MPS. The clinical effect of Akupotomye Treatment in treat of LDH-MPS patent was better than the effect of acupuncture treatment. 2. Akupotomye therapy not only had a better therapeutic efficacy, but also decrease the recurrence rate in3month. |
