Objective utilizing transvaginal two-dimension (2D) and real-time three-dimensional(3D) hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography(HyCoSy) to evaluate the tubal patency, to compare the clinical applical value of the two modes of HyCoSy; and to discuss the significance of the time of the ultrasound contrast agents(UCA) flowing through the fallopian tube from the cornua uteri to the fimbriated extremity of fallopian.Materials and methods There were22infertility patients,40tubals. Firstly,gathered the real-time3D volume data,then proceeded2D HyCoSy. With the number of fallopian tube for the unit,the tubal patency were all divided into three groups which were unobstruction, passes impeded and obstruction by two modes of HyCoSy,then the outcomes of the wo modes were compared by Chi-square test; as well as the fallopian tube lines were all divided into two groups which were natural and curve by two modes, also were compared by Chi-square test, P<0.05means a statistically significance. By the mode of3D reconstructive, the time of UCA flowing through the fallopian tube from the cornua uteri to the fimbriated extremity of fallopian was compared by independent sample t test or two independent samples of non-parametric test between the groups of unobstruction and passes impeded, P<0.05means a statistically significance.Results There were22patients in this stuy,40fallopian tubes examined by HyCoSy,which had received the satisfactory image results. The unobstruction is22,the passes impeded is13and the obstruction is5by2D HyCoSy; by real-time3D HyCoSy they were23,13,4. The difference of the outcomes of the two modes was not statistically significant(P>0.05), it also didn’t considered that the tubal patency of the two modes had differences. There was significant statistical disparity between the outcomes of the fallopian tube lines by the two modes(P<0.05), real-time3D HyCoSy better than2D HyCoSy in assessing the fallopian tube lines. There were unobstruction22and passes impeded13by the mode of3D reconstructive, both of them were counted the time of UCA flowing through the fallopian tube from the cornua uteri to the fimbriated extremity of fallopian. There were significant statistical disparity between the two groups (P<0.05), the time of the unobstruction is shorter than the passes impeded.Conclusion1、Utilizing transvaginal2D HyCoSy and real-time3D HyCoSy to evaluate the tubal patency, results there was no significant differences, but real-time3D HyCoSy had obvious advantages in assessing the fallopian tube lines.2、The time of UCA flowing through the fallopian tube from the cornua uteri to the fimbriated extremity of fallopian counted by the mode of3D reconstructive had significant differences between the unobstruction and passes impeded.
